LEXINGTON- Sir Biscuit of Ivy Hill, 12, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 18, 2022. Born on January 28, 2010, Biscuit was a Golden Retriever.
Sir Biscuit of Ivy Hill, also known as “Biscuit,” “Biscuit Boy” and “Buddy,” enjoyed shade bathing, chasing the neighbors up and down the fence line, rolling on his back to scratch, going on walks, playing with Bella Rose; giving high 5s and shaking paws. He loved to sleep on the hardwood floors just outside the bedroom door or next to the bed, and eating any and all food, especially holiday leftovers! It was game on if any food hit the floor.
Biscuit enjoyed going to Harbison State Forest and the Riverfront Park but hated hot air and helium balloons, fireworks, the vacuum cleaner and thunderstorms. His favorite toys were stuffed unicorns, Mighty Joe, and really anything stuffed.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Jordan Taylor and Mike and Pam Griffin; siblings, Logan, Daniel, Corey, Josh, Matt; fur-siblings, Bella Rose, Addison; and favorite humans, Hal Richardson (Pupa) and Tanya Mabry.
Some of the Griffin families favorite memories of Biscuit was his reactions to balloons and new things around the house or rearranged furniture or anything with water in it. Biscuit would chase soccer balls around and would give a single solo bark from the porch when he wanted to come inside.
