Ashley Nicks
Ashley Nicks has proudly called Lugoff, South Carolina home for most of her life and has been a dedicated member of the Peaceful Paws Mortuary & Crematory team for the past two years. What began as a short, two-month plan quickly turned into a true calling. Ashley discovered a deep passion for supporting families and honoring the lives of their beloved pets, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Ashley has been married to her husband, Richard, for 22 years, and together they have built a beautiful life with their four children—Emma, Aubrie, Lily, and Gunner. Family is at the center of everything she does. When she’s not at work, you’ll most likely find her cheering on her kids at the track or football field, making memories that mean the world to her.
A true animal lover at heart, Ashley shares her home with 12 dogs and 2 cats. She understands firsthand the deep bond between people and their pets and knows that they are truly family. This personal connection is what drives her compassion and care in her work each day.
Ashley loves to travel, especially to the mountains, though the ocean holds a special place in her heart as well. No matter where life takes her, her greatest passion remains helping others. She finds true purpose in walking alongside families during one of their hardest moments, offering comfort, understanding, and a gentle hand when it’s needed most.
For Ashley, being able to provide even the smallest sense of peace during a difficult time is not just part of her job—it’s what makes it all worthwhile.
