SPARTANBURG- Scooter Privette, 14, passed away on October 31, 2022. Born in Hartsville on June 27, 2008, he became part of the Privette family at six weeks old on Aug. 8, 2008.
Scooter, also known as “Little Bit” or “Scoot,” never really like toys, but loved to play with acorns in the fall and would roll around in them scratching his back. He loved playing in soft grass out in the sun and exploring everything. His least favorite activities were riding in the car, getting his nails trimmed, and he especially disliked Lamb Chop the stuffed animal.
Scooter loved Snausage treats and his favorite treat was an occasional plain potato chip- he loved the crunching! His favorite place to sleep was cuddled up by my neck or on top of my head and his favorite place to visit was his grandma Sherrie’s house in Cassatt, which was his home for many years before he and I moved to Spartanburg. He loved going to see his grandma Sherrie, his papa Simon and his brother Ben and his other friend Tucker, his grandma’s goldendoodle.
Left to cherish his memory are his dad, Christopher Privette; sibling, Ben Winburn; grandma, Sherrie; papa, Simon; best friend, Anthony Matthews; and fur-friends, Sweet Magnolia and Tucker. Some of those favorite memories was of how much he loved cuddling and would always use his nose to nuzzle for attention. He was always ready to give and get affection.
