CAMDEN- Brewster Baker passed away on July 7, 2023. Brewster was adopted from the Kershaw County Human Society, Theil-Myer Pet adoption center on October 6, 2016.
Brewster, also known as “Biggie,” enjoyed to love on his babies (toys, kitties, and little dogs), lay in the sunshine, and eat. His favorite toys were anything plush and soft, in his life before being adopted, he didn’t have much, especially in the way of toys. He babied those toys like they were real. Brewster’s favorite place to sleep was on his big soft bed, and he loved to eat any food, he was exceptionally happy when his family shared what they were cooking, pasta, chicken, bread, didn’t matter as long as he got a taste.
With Brewster’s love of food came a lot of excitement. He would bounce up and down as we went to the food container with almost a smile on his face. If you didn’t wake up on time, don’t worry – Brewster would wake you up with nose nudges and kisses, gently reminding you that he was starving and desperately needed food. Brewster would roll over giving us what we referred to as “belly ups” with this silly goofy upside down smile, just waiting for his belly to be rubbed. He gave the best kisses. Those kisses will be missed so much.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Elizabeth and Jay Baker; siblings, Peyton Triplett, Wila Baker; and fur-siblings, Bentley, Luna, Alba, Rosie, Piper, Harley, Paca and Dom.
