Pete, beloved pig of Cotton Branch Farm Rescue, passed away July 13, 2023.
Pete was one of 550 pigs rescued from Kentucky in 2018. Shy and timid when he arrived, he soon learned to give and receive love, and opened up to show us his gentle spirit. He became the best friend of Beyoncé and Oliver, and this made he and Beyoncé the first pigs Oliver ever wanted as friends.
He loved his pools and wallows and lounging in the shade with his friends. He was always there to greet you with that big, beautiful smile, and you couldn’t help but feel joy in his presence.
He was so photogenic and everyone who visited loved meeting him and taking his picture!
We miss Pete so much and he leaves a void in his herd that no one can fill. We love you always Pete ❤️
