CAMDEN- Garnet passed away August 5, 2020. He was adopted April 24, 2004 in Columbia while his mom was attending Grad School at USC (hence where the name came from).
Garnet, also known as, “Boo Man,” “Boobas,” “Big Man,” or “Black Panther,” loved sleeping anywhere and everywhere. One would find him in the most peculiar places. His favorite food was dry food, but he did like the occasional milk left from his momma’s cereal.
His mom’s favorite memories included him keeping her company during grad school, sleeping on her stomach and back, and dressing him up for holidays,(which he hated). He has been dressed up by his momma for all occasions, dealt with his photo-bombing cat sister (and brothers), lived in 5 different places, played hide-and-seek in the flower pot, watched as his momma washed load after load of clothes, protected his human sister as she slept, snuggled with his four-legged sister, woken up curled up in the shower, slept like a human on pillows at night, celebrated every holiday, and auditioned as “Playgirl” centerfold on the back porch table. He was amusing to say the least.
Left to cherish his memory are his human momma, Amanda; human sister, October; and feline siblings, Cray Cray (aka Chase) and Skittles.
He is predeceased by his fur siblings, Charley, and Dora & Leo (both step), and cat niece and nephew, Amber-Sophia, and Noodle, respectively.
