COLUMBIA- Coco passed away September 20, 2023. She was born in 2006 in Hartsville, SC.
Coco, also known as, “C-O-C-O,” loved to play ball, riding in the truck and on the golf cart. She was a horse show dog, always riding along. She also enjoyed sunbathing in the yard.
Coco was a little bit of a picky eater, so when she did not eat, her mom would mix a little bit of “people” food in her dog food. No veggies or cheese!
She loved to sleep with her mom and dad, as her dad was “her person.” She followed him around like a shadow. At horse shows she would sit on the golf cart waiting for him and would never let him out of her sight.
They collected many great memories with her during the 17 years they spent together, so it’s hard to pick just one. But one time she “smuggled” herself into the truck to go to a horse show although she knew that the plan was to leave her home. She was a typical Jack Russell, very independent and tough, but also very loyal and loving. She will be dearly missed by all of them.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents Gary and Michaela; sibling, Stella; and fur-siblings, Chanel, and Tommy.

I was fortunate to be one of Coco’s petsitters for the last six years or so. She was the sweetest old girl, and I will always cherish the time I had with her and her two fur-siblings that passed before her, as well as Tommy and Chanel that are still with us. Coco had a wonderful, long life, and I think that is truly a testament to the incredible care and love she was given. She will be greatly missed. We love you, Coco!
