Sam was born in March, 2012 and gotcha’d in Lugoff, SC. He passed away May 8, 2024.
Sam, also known as “Sam the Man,” or “Mama’s Handsome Boy,” loved playing with his toy dinosaur, he would bring it to his mama as soon as she stepped in the door. He enjoyed doing anything with his mama, especially daily car rides and holding his head out the window. He would go sit by his leash when he wanted to ride.
Sam’s favorite place to sleep was with his mama, and his favorite foods were chicken, steak, and ham slices!
His mom’s favorite memories of him were how he was such a great big brother and how Sam was so well known at the bank and pharmacy drive thru’s and the weekly grocery curbside pickup. He was truly a love bug and best friends with his Mama.
I would also like to thank Dr Rundlett and his staff at Wateree Animal Hospital of Elgin for always taking care of Sam and Ella. -Martha
Left to cherish Sam’s memory is his mom, Martha; brother, Mainor; and fur-brother, Jesse. His sister, Ella, meets him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rose Ann & I are so sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. Sam was a beautiful soul & a handsome little man! No doubt in my mind Sam knew he was so loved even until the moment he closed his little eyes. He knew he was loved. Keeping those precious memories of him will live in your heart forever. Rose Ann & I will be keeping you in our thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
