LUGOFF- Dixie Catoe, 12, passed away on July 13, 2024.
Dixie, also known as “Dixie Baby” or “Fat Girl,” loved treats in her bed, sleeping in front of the fireplace, and getting ear scratches. Dixie had a sister who passed away a couple years ago and they did everything together including sleeping. They are now reunited.
Left to cherish her memory are her mom, Christi Catoe; siblings, Courtney Cogdill (Kevin) and Charlie Fortson; and fur-babies, Lucy, Ellie and Honey.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Dixie girl & her Mama Christi Catoe & her sweet fur babies in 2021.Their company helped me with the grief of losing my baby sister that year. Dixie was a sweet girl,but I was sitting in her spot so she bumped me a little bit & I realized I was on HER couch so I immediately moved so Dixie&her sister could stretch out. She was loved by many & I’m one of the many!🌈💔🌈
