BLYTHEWOOD- Kody Edwards was born October 9, 2015 at Circle D Farms in Gaffney, SC. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 16, 2024.
Kody was also known as “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” because when his mom would take him in her jeep he would move and the whole car would move with him. He was also teased often for being a momma’s boy.
Kody was well loved in the Edwards household. His favorite toy was his orange ball and his favorite food was Purina One Dog food and Milk bone chewy dog treats. He loved to sleep. He helped raise 2 boys; Trey, 24, and Brandon, 22; and a girl, Kaylee,16. Earlier this year in January, he lost his best friend and brother, Rocky. He followed Rocky around everywhere he went and did everything he did. He has been lost without him. We will miss Kody meeting us first thing in the morning at the bathroom door.
Left to cherish his memory are his mom, Amy Edwards; dad, Carlton Edwards; and siblings, Trey, Brandon and Kaylee Edwards, and fur-sister, Lucy.
Rest easy baby boy. You will always and forever hold a special place in our hearts.
