FLORENCE- Sammy Cheras passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He became part of the Cheras family on Saturday, October 2, 2022 from Marlboro County Animal Shelter. His owner, Skyler, got him from Rocky Valley Kennels and he was about 2 and 1/2 when Caroly him from the shelter. He was a Purebred Belgian Malinois
Sammy, also known as “Sammy Sosa,” enjoyed chasing balls, being with his family, and eating any and all food he could get his paws on. Sammy loved play with any kind of ball. His favorite place to sleep was on his Mama’s bed, lying on his back, and sprawled out.
Every time his family would come home, his greetings were like no other, he would be jumping and excited. Some of his families favorite memories are of him laying on the bed and rolling off accidentally and him laying in the bed and cuddling up just like a human.
Left to cherish his memories are his Mom, Caroly Cheras and step-mama, Renee Miller; siblings, Connor, Alexander, Korbin; and fur-siblings, Lady, Boots, Ciroc, and Murdock.

I will forever miss my beautiful Sammy. His energy was intoxicating to everyone and everything around him. The silence in the house is deafening. We are all feeling this loss and we will forever be left with a hole in our hearts.
