Sweet Pea was born July 18, 2004 to a friend’s Mama cat in Hartsville, SC. When all the kitties were ready to go to the shelter her brother and her were the only surviving kitties of a litter of six. The other four had disappeared. The shelter was closed on the day her and her brother were taken there, so a second trip was not to happen. Sweet Pea was then a permanent part of the Lynch Family instead and a friend took her brother.
In her younger days she loved toy mice and empty boxes. She was always ready to help you move something off of the table with one quick swipe of her paw, she broke her parent’s first digital camera that way.
Sweet Pea was a great kitty living in a camper with her parent’s when they traveled. She loved to be outside and always loved going for walks whether she was on a leash or in her stroller. Sweet Pea preferred any cat food with lots of gravy but also wanted her Temptation chicken treats.
In her later years you would find Sweet Pea in the sunshine on the screen porch. She definitely was a warm weather girl. Sweet Pea was a fitting name for this sweet cat, breaking her family’s heart when her frail little body decided she had stayed as long as she could. Sweet Pea gave them so many wonderful memories in the twenty years they were able to love her and she will be missed forever.
She passed on September 13, 2024 leaving her parents Larry and Jo Lynch extremely sad. She shared her home with fur siblings, Snuggles and Smudge.
