K-9 Officer Mikka Iseman

CAMDEN- Mikka Iseman, K-9 for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, was killed in action on September 20, 2024. Mikka was born in Kershaw County in March of 2020.

    Mikka’s favorite thing do was go to work tracking people with her trainer and handler, Chief Deputy Chase Iseman. Her favorite food was Loyal Life dogfood, known as her cereal and she loved playing with chew bones. Her favorite place to sleep was with her human sisters, Laken, Riley and Garyn. Some of the best memories of Mikka was her drive to work and her silly playfulness when she got home.

      Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Chase and Greta Iseman; human siblings, Dayton, Garyn, Laken and Riley; and fur-siblings, Kiya, Lola and Nova.
