Pig was gotcha’d by his family in September of 2018 in Fort Benning, GA. He passed away on September 22, 2024.
Pig, also known as “Smoosh,” “Meatball,” “Emotional Support Pig,” “Our Potato,” loved to play with his bones, stuffed dinosaur, his ropes and tennis balls. His favorite activities included car rides, trips to the ocean, fishing trips, camping, golf cart rides, playing on the trampoline and being with his family.
His favorite place to sleep would be snuggled up with anyone, in his bed, or the rug by the stove. Somedays you could catch him by his favorite bush in the backyard. His favorite food was literally anything! He loved treats of any kind!
His family has lots of favorite memories of him. From the time he woke up his Dad in the middle of the night because they had water coming in their camper, to when he would do his funny hops down their stairs, or when he would wake up early on the ocean so he could do zoomies in the sand. His bedtime routine during school nights was always special. Also, all the times he would sit in on meetings with his Dad, sitting in a chair listening to everyone speak. The way he loved their kids with every fiber of his being is something they will miss forever. He was the best dog.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Andrew & Cici Weinberg; siblings, Owen & Liam Weinberg; and his Best fur sister Lucky.
