Dixie was born on November 12, 2016 in Columbia, SC. She passed away on September 23, 2024.
Dixie, also known as “Dixie Doodle,” loved to play with her teddy bear and her small rag doll. They were her most favorite toys to play with. Her favorite activities were being at her dad’s side or chasing the squirrels. Her favorite place to sleep at night was either the bed right next to her dad’s desk or in the lounge chair right next to her dad’s bed. She loved being close to him. Her favorite food was steak and chicken.
Her dad’s favorite memories of her were that Dixie was an extremely loyal friend. She would constantly be at her dad’s side. She loved to ride in his truck, greet folks when they came to the house and lay in his lap to be petted. She was the best dog anyone could ask for in a pet. She loved everyone!
Left to cherish her memory is her dad, Ed Garrison; fur-sibling, Piper.

A beautiful memory of Dixie… maybe needed, as Dixie liked to have a tug of war with Piper. Also, Dixie enjoyed barking at the TV when another animal came on. Or hang outside the front glass door with Piper barking at the rabbits and squirrels. Both dogs were protected and loving of their Dad.
Dixie will be missed by many who loved her…she had the most beautiful soulful brown eyes…that looked into your soul and heart. Dixie is with our Lord!!!
