Clifford was gotcha’d by his family on December 25, 2021 in Lynbrook, NY. He passed away on December 25, 2024.
Clifford, also known as “Buddy” and “Maria,” loved playing and eating bones that were much bigger than him. His favorite activities were zoomies around the yard, curling up to Nala and Arya, and being a best friend to Angela. His favorite place to sleep was wherever he could curl up and get warm next to one of his family members. His favorite food was anything he could steal from Nala, treats and meat.
Their favorite memories of him was the day they found him, the family instantly knew he was one of them. Clifford was just about the size of their hand when they brought him home. They will never forget Angela’s face when he came home in a decorated box for Christmas. When they brought home Nala; Clifford would play rough with her being the only dog he’s ever met that was smaller than him. Nala grew to be almost 100lbs and Clifford still bossed her around! Clifford’s big ears, his chest that stuck out like he was Superman, his tiny legs he used to trot around happily everywhere he went. Clifford was their family’s gift in a goofy, fun-loving little package and he made friends with everyone he met. He will be dearly missed.
Clifford, you live on in our hearts forever. We love you, buddy.
Left to cherish his memory are his mom, Angela- Hernandez-Quintero; siblings, Nala, Arya, and Ellie-Jayne.

I wished I could have seen Clifford next time of visiting my family but I am glad i got to see him a few months ago. Clifford was such a bundle of joy that he couldn’t control his bladder whenever you would pet him. I always found it so cute that he would snuggle up next to Nala and Arya whenever they would be laying down. I am glad I was able to take a lot of pictures of and with Clifford. He will always have a special place in my heart. I love you, Cliff.
Clifford was like a ball of energy, always running around as fast as his little legs could carry him. He was always excited to be around his family and new people. Clifford will forever live through our memories, and I know he has already made tons of friends in doggie heaven.
He was the sweetest, softest and lovable little guy. We will miss his curling up in our laps when we come to visit. He will be missed 🙁
