Bandit Pangonis

Bandit was born in 2009 in Anna, Illinois. He was adopted by his forever family June 15, 2015. He passed away on January 20, 2025.

Bandit, also known as “Bandit Bean” and “Nanner,” was not a picky eater, but he loved chicken. His favorite activities in his younger days were running at full speed and adventuring for new smells. He loved to follow his sister and mom. And he loved car rides and sticking his head out of window, no matter the weather. He loved sleeping at the foot of the bed and really loved his special dog bed.

One of his family’s favorite memories is the day they brought him home from the adoption center. His excitement was infectious as he stuck his head out the window on the ride home, eager to find his new place in their hearts.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kathleen and Kyle Pangonis; siblings, Gray C, Emmah and Kitty Karen.

My sweet, gentle Bandit boy. You were the hardest thing to let go of. Couldn’t have asked for a better boy. You kept me on my toes and gave me so much purpose, because you depended on me. I’d give anything you hear your feet patter behind me or to hear your snore. I’ll see you again, buddy. I love you so so so much.
