I’m so sorry.
I’m so sorry.
Brice,
As you know Aiken had a mind of his own. During training, there were times he would nail it and there were times he was doing his own thing. I will remember him going straight to the mark looking at it, peeing on it and then sitting down looking like “I’m done”.
In the field though he was nothing but a champ. I was fortunate enough to hunt with him multiple times and each time he was awesome. You did all the training yourself and you should be proud. He was a great hunting partner and I will always remember our hunts together, the ducks he retrieved for me and the times we trained together.
My heart goes out to you, Brice, as you mourn the loss of your hunting buddy, and my sister, as you mourn the loss of your lap buddy. I love you both and I will miss Aiken. I know Leo will too.
Love and hugs to you and Brice. Aiken was blessed to be loved so much by both of you.
We will miss seeing Aiken! So sorry about your loss Brice and Megan. May you cherish all the memories you have.
