Smijion was gotcha’d and rescued by her wonderful and loving momma on April 11, 2015. She passed away on February 24, 2025.
Smijion, also known as “Sweet Girl” and “Momma’s Girl,” loved her bone with peanut butter in the center. Smijion was all of her siblings overseer and caregiver just like her momma. Her favorite activity was grooming everyone, running around outside in the fenced in back yard with her siblings and sunning herself on the deck. Her favorite place to sleep was next to her momma. Her favorite food was any and ALL food but really momma’s food.
Her momma’s favorite memories will always be when she would greet her momma every morning and when momma came home from work. She was always so loving and smart. She was the most resilient girl. She could adjust to whatever came her way as long as her momma was there. She always walked right next to her NO matter where they were in the house or outside . Smijion always had a endearing smile whenever she looked at her momma.
Left to cherish her memory is The Boisvert Clan. Smijion had several fur siblings a long with many foster’s that she always welcome.

Kim was my rescued dogs foster mom for six months before transport to Boston when I was lucky enough to adopt him. Having known Kim going on almost 9 years now I know that Smijion had the very best Mom in every way. Kim is the best foster and I am grateful for her. The pictures of Smijion show a beautiful, happy and loving dog. She’s at rest along with all the dogs before her and she is a guardian Angel looking over all the dogs still here. Kim, Zeeko and I send you our love and hugs❤️
