Aria Christopher

In Loving Memory of Aria Christopher
Aria, also known as “Little Grey”, was born on July 15, 2013, in Torrington, CT. She passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2025. Aria was one of nine puppies born in foster care. She was a vocal girl from the start, and as told by her foster family, she was singing at birth. Adopted at 10 weeks old, she always made her presence known with her sweet singing voice, barking, cooing, grumbling, sighing and snoring. She gave the best love stretches, always accompanied by a squeaky yawn. Her theme song became No Woman, No Cry by Bob Marley, which calmed her when it was sung.

Aria was adopted to her furever family with her sister, Cali. They were the best of friends and inseparable. Some of their best past times were playing ball, sunbathing, tearing up paper towel rolls, napping, or enjoying a Kong together. “Five o’clock”, dinner time, was Aria’s favorite time of day and she was sure to get Cali to join in the excitement while their meals were prepared.

Aria was always a Daddy’s girl and “helped” him with yardwork by running off with sticks, attacking the hose (her nemesis), and rolling happily in the dirt. She was always by his side whether it was in the yard, napping in his chair, or sharing some French fries (or peanut butter, cheese, toast, chips or anything that wasn’t lettuce). She was truly his shadow.

Aria was the prettiest girl with her soft ears, soulful eyes, and big smile. She had a sassy walk which matched perfectly with her big personality. Clowning around and being silly was one of her best traits, lovingly called “the jester” by mom and dad. Snuggling was also one of her strong points, always with one paw on mom, which became known as her “mommy radar”.

Aria’s family will forever cherish the 11 years they spent with her. She is deeply missed by her parents, Tony and Jessica, her fur sister, Cali, and all the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

“No matter how bright the sun shines, my shadow is gone, until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.”
