Shelby was gotcha’d by her family in 2012 in South Carolina. She passed away on April 16, 2025.
Shelby, also known as “She-bee,” loved to play with her lamb chop toy. It was her favorite! Her favorite activity was licking people. Her favorite place to sleep was in her daddy’s lap. Her favorite food was fortune cookies.
Their favorite memories of her were the13 years of unconditional love she gave them.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, David Vanvliet and Jennifer Habeck; siblings, Chloe, Zoey, Mischka, and Little Man.

Shelby was a sweet girl, loved by her family. I remember one year she grabbed her stuff lamp chop toy, and jumped in my suitcase as i was packing to head back home!, she was always sitting in dads lap when we video chatted with him, and always got excited to see us over the phone. Her dad loved her very much and gave her the best 13 years that any pup could ask for. Shelby I know you never met your brother zeus but find him across the bridge and he will keep you company as you watch and wait for your dad to come pick you up from that doggy daycare in heaven ❤️
She was just the sweetest little fur baby. She will be missed.
Shelby was a little spit fire of a creature always so full of energy and wanted to constantly be cuddled or played with. She always made the day better and will be missed and loved by many
Shelby was a one of a kind little girl! She didn’t know a stranger, if you had a face she was there to lick it! Her cousins Rocco and Deedee will miss her along with everyone else that came across her path!!! Shelbs what can I say other than we already miss you here! But whatever thing that was causing you pain is over! Enjoy your life on the other side of the rainbow bridge! Say hi to Bella for me! Love you forever

Shelby will be missed. She was such a loving dog. She loved to be in her dad’s lap getting petted.
This one hurts a lot! Shelby was the best little girl ever! She loved my dogs (her cousins) I’ll have a lot of great memories of Shelby. You could walk up to her and go bang! And she would roll over on her back! I’m gonna miss that beautiful girl! Enjoy your peace and serenity on the other side! We will miss you so much and we will see you when we get there!
