Meeka was born on March 1, 2014 in NC. She started her life with Ed and Diane Miller from 2014-2018, then she found her forever home with us in 2018 in Lugoff, SC. She passed away on July 13, 2025.
Meeka, also known as “Meek Meek,” “Mee Mee” and “Meeka Girl,” loved to play with tennis balls. Her favorite activities were chasing birds and squirrels in the back yard, taking long naps beside her parents and howling for treats. Her favorite place to sleep was on her fluffy dog bed and next to her parents bedroom door. Her favorite foods were peanut butter toast, chicken ,steak and any type of dog treat.

Their favorite memories of her were her pretty blue eyes that could melt your heart. She was always excited to go for car rides. She loved to howl and would greet her family with lots of howls when they arrived back home. Meeka was a wonderful member of their family and they are so glad she allowed them to be part of her pack. She will forever be in their hearts and they will miss her everyday.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Eric and Kim Wooten; sibling, Gavin Wooten; fur-sibling, Duffy Wooten.

I am crying just reading her write up! 😪 It is obvious how loved she was and I know she felt that love every day. I believe that Rainbow Bridge leads to greener pastures and she will be waiting for you when the time comes. Praying for days of peace and memories for you all. 🙏❤️
My heart is broken today as I remember sweet Meeka! She was special and such a joy to all of us! She always greeted me at the door with kisses and I loved her so much! Her howl was her way of talking and I will forever miss her! There will never be another Meeka! Rest in peace sweet girl! You will forever be in our hearts!❤️❤️❤️
An Angel without wings, we love them completely, but now she has gone, we feel her loss oh so deeply. As time goes by, you’ll fondly remember the good times you had and cry quietly as you wonder why it feels so bad. Just remember she’s not gone and alone. She’s just the other side of a door waiting to come home. One day that door will be opened to you, they say, and your grief will be gone in some mysterious way. It’s hard, while you’re here and she’s over there, but remember she’s happy with her big blue-eyed stare just waiting to see you, tail wagging and gay, and you’ll both be united forever & a day.
An angel originally without wings we love them for how they make us feel. Now they have their wings we never think we’ll ever heal.
But time will go by and today’s pain will recede but, her memory will live on tho’ shed with less tear.
We never lose our pets their just waiting next door.
One day it will be opened for you and your grief will be no more.
