Kain Mobley

Kain was gotcha’d May 11, 2016, in Lugoff, SC. He passed away July 10, 2025.

Kain, also known as “Kainie,” “Kainer,” or “Buddy” loved playing with anything that squeaked, sleeping, watching over all the grandchildren, sitting with his dad, and going to see his Pops.

His favorite place to sleep was anywhere that was cool, while sunning on the back porch, or close to his mom.

Kain’s favorite things to snack on were bacon and cheese!

A memory that Kain’s family is particularly fond of is when they rescued him in 2016 when he was around 5 years old. He had a rough start in life until he was in their hands. The rest of his time spent on earth was filled with nothing but love. He was then diagnosed with cancer in December 2020. The vet said he didn’t have long, but Kain pushed through for four and a half years. He had love for everyone he encountered. He especially loved the little ones in the family. He tolerated hugs, pets, and even gave lots of kisses. He always wanted to be near his family, and they are so thankful for all of the time they were given to love him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Len and Michele Mobley, his human siblings, and extended family.
