On March 24, 2016, in Minnesota, Baxter Gardner—lovingly nicknamed Bubba—hopped his way into the heart of his mom, Jill Gardner, and never let go. From the very first day, Baxter brought joy, laughter, and more than a little mischief into the home.
Baxter had a personality as big as his ears. He loved his pellet-dispensing egg, playing with it like a puzzle, and had a special talent for waking the house by banging on the baby gate at 4 a.m.—his own personal version of an alarm clock. And if something wasn’t to his liking, his legendary stink eye said it all.
His favorite treats—a slice of banana or carrot—were always received with pure bunny delight. But perhaps nothing brought his mom more joy than the way he greeted her in the mornings: bounding into a full zoomie the moment she walked into his room, his excitement impossible to hide.
Baxter passed on August 9, 2025, leaving behind years of cherished memories and a home forever touched by his unique charm. He was more than just a pet—he was family, a friend, and a little bundle of love wrapped in soft fur.
Rest peacefully, sweet Bubba.
Your zoomies, your sass, and your love will never be forgotten. 🐇❤️

Oh, beautiful Baxter!
I am so sorry to learn of your passing. You are so handsome! And seeing your photo here, you are reminding me of my kitty, Pippin! I’m sure you know how much your Mommy loved you while you were here. She will always remember the fun times you guys had. Wait by the Rainbox Bridge with all the doggies & kitties and your Mommy will one day meet you there again. Be a good bun until then.. xo
