Chloe Holmes

In Loving Memory of Miss Murray’s Chloe Girl
April 12, 2021 – August 10, 2025
Forever Our Sweet Girl 🐾❤️

Born in Hartsville, SC, on April 12, 2021, Miss Murray’s Chloe Girl—affectionately known as Clo, Cloesha, Sweet Girl, Baby Girl, Booby Girl, Mama’s Girl, Daddy’s Girl, Monkey, and even Bad Girl (though she was never bad)—was a beautiful Boykin Spaniel who filled her family’s lives with boundless love, joy, and laughter.

From the moment she joined Paul and Erin Holmes, Chloe was at the center of their world. She adored her human brother, Thomas, her Boykin Spaniel brother, Copper, and her cat sister, Roxie. Chloe’s loyalty was unmatched—wherever her daddy went, she wanted to be, her head proudly out the truck window. If daddy wasn’t around, mama became her #1. And if both mama and daddy were away, Thomas took that place of honor without question.

Chloe had a playful, adventurous heart. She loved hunting for birds, squirrels, and deer, chasing balls, running with sticks, and even trying to steal Copper’s leash just to make him chase her. When the day’s adventures were done, she found her peace snuggled between mama and daddy in their bed or curled up in her beanbag beside daddy.

Her favorite foods were simple—whatever daddy was eating. If it was good enough for him, it was good enough for Chloe. She loved sharing snacks with mama, always taking them with the gentlest touch.

Her family will forever cherish the memories of running on the beach chasing birds, playing in the snow in the mountains, floating on the float in the pool with mama, and visiting both sets of grandparents—where she always got exactly what she wanted. She loved checking in on Thomas’s room, even if he wasn’t home, and her sweet, silly pounces at Roxie in hopes of starting a game. She gave the best cuddles and had a way of making Copper chase her into the house each afternoon, always winning the game.

And who could resist those beautiful eyes and long eyelashes when she went through any drive-thru, working her charm for a treat? Chloe was more than a pet—she was family, the smartest girl with the biggest personality and an even bigger heart.

On August 10, 2025, Chloe passed, leaving a hole in her family’s hearts that can never be filled. She will forever be our Sweet Girl, our constant companion, and a piece of our hearts that time will never take away.

Run free, Chloe Girl. You were our world, and you always will be. 🐾💗
