Born in Lexington, SC, on October 24, 2012, Lincoln Jones—affectionately known as Linky Link—became the heart and soul of his family from the moment he joined his mom, Susan, on December 24, 2012. For more than a decade, Lincoln filled his home with love, laughter, and his unmistakable charm.

He shared his world with his late sibling Dobby, and his fur cousins Axel, Mia, and Coco. Lincoln had a few prized possessions—his beloved Bunny and Bear—but his greatest joys came from riding with Mom on the golf cart, exploring the woods, and barking at every passing car (and the occasional “invasive air molecule”).

At night, he could often be found sleeping under the bed or perched on the back of the couch, always keeping watch. When it came to food, Lincoln wasn’t picky—he loved anything and everything (within reason), happily sharing snacks with his humans.

Lincoln’s family will forever remember his humor and devotion. Though strangers were often greeted with a low, intimidating growl that clearly said, “Don’t even think about it,” his protective nature meant they never needed a fancy security system. He loved lounging by the pool, overseeing his property from the porch, and coming and going through open doors—whether or not the heat or AC was on.

He leaves behind countless cherished memories: the way he looked after his family, the joy in his rides, and the way he truly believed he was the guardian of his castle. Now, he runs free in Heaven, where every trail is new and every breeze is full of adventure.
