Possum Clark came into the world as a feral cat, but in true Possum fashion, he decided one day that he was ready for the good life—and simply walked inside and stayed. From that moment, he became a cherished member of the Clark family, loved deeply by his pet parents Neal and Delisa Clark, and his sibling Mary.
Possum had a strong sense of who he was and what he liked. His favorite toy was a stuffed football, but his greatest joy was asking for food—especially if that food was salmon, his all-time favorite treat.
He had a knack for finding the coziest spots, often sleeping under any table, but his heart always belonged to Dad. One of the family’s sweetest memories is of Possum perched on the end table, resting his paw gently on Dad’s arm—a simple gesture that spoke volumes about his love and loyalty.
On August 2, 2025, Possum passed away, leaving behind quiet pawprints in the home and hearts of those who loved him. Though his presence was often subtle, it was constant, comforting, and deeply felt.
Rest easy, sweet Possum.
