Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, on June 30, 2010, Frida De León was a beloved companion whose presence filled her family’s life with warmth, joy, and unconditional love. She was the cherished daughter of Luna Valentina and Rocco, and a devoted sister to pets Marcelo and Carolina, as well as to her human brothers, Fernando José and Carlos Fabián.

Affectionately known by her many nicknames—Frida del amor, Perri del amor, Fri, and Ñoñin—she had a way of making everyone smile. Her favorite toy, her monkey pillow, was a source of comfort, and her favorite food was roasted chicken, which she enjoyed with delight.

Frida loved to play hide and seek, bringing playful energy to her home. When it came time to rest, she always chose the beds of her mom or brothers, never far from the people she loved most.

Her family’s fondest memories of Frida are not of grand adventures, but of the everyday moments that defined her love. There was nothing sweeter than seeing her waiting at the bottom of the stairs, tail wagging with excitement, ready to go up to bed alongside her family. For Frida, that was happiness: to be with her people, to share the rhythm of life with them, step by step.

On August 29, 2025, at 10:20 PM, Frida passed away, leaving behind a family who will forever treasure her loyalty, gentleness, and the pure joy she brought into their lives.
