Max Schneider came into this world as a Christmas gift in 2015, a present from Kelly to her father, James “Pop” Schneider, Sr. That gift quickly became so much more than anyone could have imagined—Max was not only a beloved dog but Pop’s constant companion, confidant, and travel buddy.

Max lived a life full of joy, curiosity, and affection. His favorite toys were stuffed animals of every kind, which he cherished and carried proudly. His favorite activity was traveling with Pop—whether to Tennessee, South Carolina, or Florida, Max was happiest with the open road ahead and Pop by his side.

When it came to rest, Max had no single favorite place—his favorite spot was simply anywhere Pop was. That bond was unshakable and filled with love.

Max also had a big heart for others. He loved all animals, especially playing with Kelly’s cat, showing his gentle nature and proving again and again that he was a lover, never a fighter. His family remembers how he would shower both humans and fur friends alike with kisses, spreading warmth and happiness wherever he went.

His favorite food was eggs, which Pop often cooked just for him as a special treat—another small but cherished ritual in the beautiful life they shared.

Among Pop’s most treasured memories are the many laughs Max provided, the comfort of his company, and the way he made every day brighter. Max’s sweet soul and loyal love left pawprints that will never fade.

On August 27, 2025, Max passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and devotion that his family will hold in their hearts forever.
