Ace Wells

In Loving Memory of Ace Wells
May 12, 2012 – September 5, 2025
Forever Our Mister Ace 🐾❤️

Ace Wells was found as part of an abandoned litter of three, but from those humble beginnings, he grew into a beloved family member and constant companion. From the moment he was welcomed home, Ace carved out a special place in the heart of his parent, Martin, who adored him through all the years they shared.

Ace was affectionately nicknamed Mister Ace and Acey, names that perfectly suited his mix of dignity and playfulness. He grew up alongside his cat brothers—Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Blue, and Sir James—and now joins his late brothers Dusty and George across the Rainbow Bridge.

Ace had a way of making his personality known. He loved laser pointers, endlessly chasing the red dot with the fierce determination of a hunter. He also loved playing with a simple ribbon. It brought him so much joy. He also enjoyed looking outside, sunning himself in warm patches of light, demanding treats, and being combed, which he accepted with regal pride.

When it came to rest, Ace’s favorite spots were always things that carried his scent—pillows, blankets, jackets, or any clothing that made him feel at home. Most often, though, he chose to be near Martin, because closeness was his greatest comfort.

He had a special love for fish-flavored food and treats, which always brought out his eager side. And though Ace could be stubborn, that stubbornness was part of his charm. His family will never forget the way he insisted on doing things his own way—whether it was sleeping with his tail sticking out from under the covers when he was little, or the rare, treasured moments when he allowed himself to be hugged. Even his toleration of his cat brothers was an act of quiet patience and love.

On September 5, 2025, Ace passed away, leaving behind a legacy of independence, affection, and companionship. His memory will live on in every sunbeam, every quiet cuddle, and every moment of love he shared with his family.

Rest peacefully, Mister Ace.
You were strong, stubborn, sweet, and deeply loved. You will never be forgotten. 🐾❤️
