Born in Cassett, South Carolina, in December 2017, Buster Douglas was a loyal companion and a source of endless love and comfort to his family. Known affectionately as “Bus,” he had a big heart, a calm spirit, and a gentle way of making everyone around him feel loved.
Buster wasn’t just a pet—he was family. Though he didn’t have siblings by blood, his best friend Marley was always by his side, sharing adventures, naps, and moments of pure joy.
His favorite pastime was simple yet sweet—playing with the grandchildren. He adored them all, and his family will always remember how gentle and patient he was with all five of them. Whether he was lying quietly nearby or joining in on the fun, he made every moment brighter with his presence.
Buster’s favorite toy was his big red rubber bone, and he loved to spend lazy afternoons sleeping by the front door, soaking up the warm sunlight. When it came to food, nothing brought him more delight than a piece of cheese—a simple treat that made his tail wag every time.
He lived a life filled with love, loyalty, and sunshine, and though his paws no longer pad softly through the home, his spirit and warmth remain.
