In Loving Memory of Lily May “Lils” Fannin
May 2014 – October 18, 2025
Forever Our Sweet Precious Love Princess Sent from Fur Heaven 💖🐾
Born in Upstate South Carolina, Lily May Fannin entered the world with a sparkle in her eye and a heart full of love. From the very beginning, she brought endless joy, laughter, and warmth to her family — Mandy and Eric Fannin, and their children Tyler, Sophia, Ayden (& Simon) Penso, and her beloved fur sister Koa June Fannin.
Known by her many affectionate nicknames — Lily Boo, Lils, Sweet Girl, Little Lils, and Sweet Precious Love Princess Sent from Fur Heaven — she lived up to each one, radiating gentleness, sass, and pure affection.
Lily’s playful energy filled her home. She adored her collection of fuzzy, squeaky toys — Ducky, Turtle, and Hedgehog among her favorites — and could turn any game into a full production. She loved when her family would toss her “babies,” and she’d charge full speed across the floor, sliding on the hardwood, proudly shaking her toy before trotting around the dining room table with it. Though her toys were often bigger than she was, she handled them like the queen she was, full of pride and determination.

When it came time to rest, Lily loved snuggling in her fluffy circle bed (a gift from her GiGi) or curling up on her favorite cream blanket on the couch. She had a big appetite for life — and for food — especially shredded chicken, though she was known to sneak just about anything she wasn’t supposed to eat before allergies slowed her mischief.
Lily’s favorite place, though, was always wherever her family was. Whether curled up beside someone on the couch, nestled by Dad’s feet under the table, or keeping Mom company in the kitchen, she wanted to be part of every moment. She especially loved being held like a baby — in her mom’s arms or wrapped up by Tyler or Sophia, who were the only ones she’d let hold her chest-to-chest.
Her family will always remember her sweet smile when they came home, her playful bossiness toward her giant sister Koa, and her ability to make every heart around her melt. She was “maybe” her mom’s favorite child — and she knew it. 💞

Lily May Fannin was so much more than a pet — she was comfort, laughter, and unconditional love wrapped in a tiny, fuzzy body. She filled her home with warmth and light, and though her paws no longer patter on the floors, her presence will forever linger in the hearts of her family.
Rest peacefully, our Sweet Girl, our Little Lils.
You were loved beyond measure and will be missed forever. Until we meet again, chase your toys and bask in Heaven’s sunshine. 🌈🐶💗
