In Loving Memory of Hocus Pocus Hilton

Hocus Pocus Hilton—affectionately known as Hocey Pokey and Mama’s lil funny bunny—hopped into this world on March 19, 2012, and into his mom Heather Hilton’s heart as just a tiny baby gifted by a friend. For 13 beautiful years, he brought sweetness, laughter, comfort, and an immeasurable amount of love into his family’s life.
Hocus Pocus was far more than “just a rabbit.” He was family—deeply loved not only by his mom but also by her Daddy and the other animals he shared his home with. His favorite fur sibling was Piper the dog, and the two shared a special bond full of companionship and gentle affection.
As he grew older, Hocus Pocus developed a strong love for his hay—enjoying it even more than he had as a youngster. He also adored carrots and apples, and he would absolutely let his family know when he wanted more. If something didn’t meet his approval, he wasn’t shy about thumping his little feet to voice his thoughts loud and clear. His personality was expressive, funny, and full of charm.
One of the sweetest things about Hocus was the way he loved. He would give soft bunny kisses and would lay in Heather’s arms like a baby, trusting her completely. His gentle nature brought comfort to the entire family, and his presence was a reminder of God’s tenderness—how even the smallest creatures can carry tremendous purpose and love.
The morning Hocus passed was met with heartbreaking sorrow, but also a moment of grace. As Heather prayed that Jesus would not let him suffer, Hocus Pocus slipped away peacefully within seconds—one final gift of mercy from above for a beloved little soul who gave so much.
Hocus Pocus Hilton leaves behind a legacy of love, companionship, and joy. His thumps, his kisses, his personality, and the simple sweetness he brought into every room will be profoundly missed.
