CAMDEN – Houla Peach, 14, passed away on April 15, 2022. Houla was born on April 1, 2008, she was a Catahoula.
Houla was one of a kind, a playful free spirit that set the tone of the household. She was extremely intelligent and very mischievous. When naughty, Houla always encouraged her fur-siblings to participate, so the blame could be diverted. She loved her favorite treats Greenies and road trips, especially to Chic-fil-a. Mention the word nuggets and Houla would quickly rally Ellie, her inseparable fur-sibling. Together they would bee-line to the car anticipating a fun trip and tasty treat.
Houla had a funny, sweet way of getting what she wanted. My fondest memories are the midnight refrigerator runs. Each night sometime after midnight she would wake me and together we would trop to the kitchen to find her a snack. One satisfied she would go back to a snoring sleep.
Houla was so devoted, full of personality and life. She will be missed greatly by her family and fur-sibling, Ellie and Riley.
