COLUMBIA- Aria Kistler, 10, passed away on January 28, 2023. Born on December 24, 2012, Aria was rescued by the Kistler on November 10, 2013.
Aria, also known as “Sweet Girl” or “Aria Jean,” enjoyed chasing squirrels, going for walks, snuggling in the bed, sleeping with his parents, eating her cookies, bites of Dad’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, greeting everyone she meets or sees, and telling Dad when it’s time for bed. Her favorite place to sleep was in the bed with her parents and her favorite toy was her puppy, which she’s had from the 1st day she was rescued. She loved to eat cookies, veggies and peanut butter.
Some of her families favorite memories of Aria are of her always wanting to be loved, snuggling in the bed, greeting them at the door even if they were just gone for 10 minutes, and talking to them. She was always the best girl, and needed her Mom when she was scared or didn’t feel good, and told her Dad every night when it was time for bed. Aria wanted them to be with her when she got a drink of water or wanted to eat and her family put 18 carpet tiles down in their house because she was afraid of hardwood floors. She would sleep on the couch with them when they took a nap and got her babies to carry everywhere she went, and would bring them a shoe if she needed to go potty. Her family has so many wonderful memories and their hearts are 1/2 gone. Life will not be the same without her.
Left to cherish her memory is her parents, James and Angie Kistler.
