Bear Lydecker

KERSHAW- Bear passed away September 3, 2023. He was born July 4, 2012.

Bear, also known as “Bear Bear,” loved sleeping, eating, barking, cuddling, and singing. His favorite foods were pork skins, pizza, mashed potatoes and gravy, lunch meat, and cheese.

Some favorite memories from his mother would include his birth, when he ate all of her food and gave her the sad puppy eyes, making the video of him reacting to a YouTube video, him talking to Hazel, cuddling while watching AHS, and when he was watching Jack and Zim back when they were “his babies”. He was always a good boy and so gentle with all the babies.

Some of his father’s favorite memories include mostly the same as his mothers, but he loved how Bear was always a daddies boy and would pick him over anything and was always the first thing he saw in the morning and the first person to greet him when he came home from work. He would always have to tell his dad about his day. Bear was a big talker and always had opinions about everything and was not afraid to tell you and had to have the last word.

Left to cherish his memory are his mom and dad, David Hern and Ashley Lydecker; and his siblings, Coco, Moco, Jinx, Smokey, Midnight, Mocha, jiji, Jack, and Zim.
