Ridley was gotcha’d by her family on March 10, 2022 at Mill St Bar & Grill in Manning, SC. She passed away on October 13, 2024.
Ridley, also known as “Ridley Jones,” “Riddy,” and “Little Lion,” loved playing with her rainbow wand, plush duck, and scratcher toys. They were her favorite! Her favorite activities were playing with Rasha and her toys. She also loved to hunt mice. Her favorite place to sleep was next to the front window, or near/on her mommy’s desk. Her favorite food was chicken.
Their favorite memory of her was when they brought her home for the first time, they could tell right away what a spirited kitty she was going to be. So their son named her Ridley after the show Ridley Jones. Some of their favorite memories of Ridley are her laying in their laps or the window sill sunbathing, how she brought out the playful side in Rasha and would run and cause chaos all through the house, how proud and how much fun she had catching any mice that would make their way inside in the winter; or simply her just being her, showing up wherever the family was, playing with shoes, playing with the dogs’ tails, rolling in catnip, ambushing whoever dared tread down the hallway, and meowing like crazy when she went into heat. She was their sweet and spicy, sour patch kitty and she will always be in their hearts.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Lynn & John Ortiz; siblings, Vash and Levi; fur-siblings, Rasha, Zen, Pretty, and Bebe.
