Dovah was born in March, 2012 in Bethune, SC. He passed away on December 30, 2024.
Dovah, also known as “Dovah Buddy” and “Dobuh” loved playing tug of war. His favorite activity was free roaming in the backyard and rolling in the grass. Dovah always found special ways to get cozy. His favorite place to sleep was underneath the longest curtains in the house, he would drape them over himself after a few comfy spins. Somehow managing never to rip them off the wall.
His favorite food was salmon and coconut oil. Although he did enjoy his mackerel treats, and various peanut butter/bacon flavored bone assortments.
Their favorite memories of him were when his Dad or Mom would get out of the car from getting off work, Dovah would stick his nose between the porch fence pickets, fold his ears backwards and make happy mouth chatters and noises of excitement. He was a joy to come home too.
Although never having children of his own, Dovah had a natural instinct to care for puppies. He raised three rescue pups throughout his life. Always the caregiver, not a single jealous bone in his body.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Justin and Dorothy Holman; fur-siblings, Stella- German Shepherd (sister), Roman- Pitbull (brother) and Jax- orange cat ( brother).
