Carolina Macleod

Carolina was born on August 13, 2013 in Brunswick County, NC. She found her forever home with her family on December 12, 2013. She passed away on December 28, 2024.

Carolina, also known as “Lina Girl,” “Big Fluffy Head,” “Sweet Carolina Girl,” and “Wiggle Butt,” loved her wishbone stuffed animal, blankets, yellow ball, and her stuffed Duck. Her favorite activities were exploring, cuddling, playing with toys, napping, and being lazy, especially sunbathing. Her favorite place to sleep was anywhere comfortable, her parents bed, her bed, in the grass under the sun, or the couch. Her favorite food was hot dogs, ham, and peanut butter.

Their favorite memory of her was that there were too many to name; however, some of their favorites are when her dad John worked the night shift, and she would cuddle with her mom, Adrienne and keep her comfortable. The first time they took her to the beach, she loved playing in the sand and water. Her dad loved how she would climb onto his lap and cuddle like a small lap dog.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, John and Adrienne MacLeod; siblings, Judah MacLeod (boy, 5), Ruthie MacLeod (girl, 3), Callie Jane MacLeod (female dog, 7), Tallulah Honey MacLeod (female dog, 5).

  1. Beautiful Carolina, you were obviously so well-loved. I believe there is a special place for you across the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again, neighbor girl…

  2. She was the best!!! I still remember the one Pic of her curled up on Julio’s lap in the recliner when we came to visit in NC. They are together again!
