Blue (Blue Ridge) was hatched on July 1st 1999. She came to Majestic Wings Rescue on April 15th, 2022 after her owner Curtis Farmer surrendered her due to his own health issues and he has predeceased her in April of this year.
Blue as we called her, had health issues of her own, so she was kept as a Sanctuary bird in the rescue. Blue has a number of feathered brothers and sisters that will miss her.
The owner Audrey Musso and primary caretaker has a huge hole in her heart from Blues passing. Our volunteers Tina, Erica, Helen, Christy, Brad, Chris, Christie and Jayden will miss her zest for life. Blue liked to make you think she was going to eat you, lol.
Blues best attribute is she was an accomplished opera singer and loved to play Birdie on a platter.
She loved going outside on nice days and being in the fresh air and sunshine.

Blue was ever loved and a testimate to the unending care Audrey and her team devote to these amazing friends Blue in particular was very lively and enjoyed bring a part of the family and daily routine. Not only we will miss Blue, but the whole sanctuary has one less voice today. We love you Blue. Fly free.
