King Solomon Grundy-Davis

Solomon was born on December 26, 2016 and passed away on May 8, 2025.

Solomon was the “Leader of the Pack”.  He would always gather all the toys and protect them from the others. (He believed ALL the toys belonged only to him) He loved to help with the yard work. His job was to lay on the pile of leaves to ensure they didn’t blow away.  He always had a toy in his mouth…waiting on the opportunity to play fetch.

What we  miss are his morning talks while waiting on his first Milkbone of the day.  Solomon was NOT the silent type, he loved to talk and tell everything!  He was always friendly and never met a stranger.  He loved his “Dad” the most…whatever he was working on, Solomon was right there close beside him.

Our backyard will never be the same, even with 3 remaining Shepherds…it feels so empty.  His personality was so profound, the quietness is deafening. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Solomon fathered 6 litters with Sheba and Karma, so his legacy lives on with other families.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jason, Timbra and Harley Davis and his “Pack” – Sheba, Karma, and son, Abel.

Solomon, we love and miss you, hope you are somewhere playing fetch. Go get your ball!

To the Davis’, Solomon’s family: We are so sorry for the great loss of your beautiful Solomon. He left you all way too soon. We know how much you loved him and just how much you miss him! But you gave him a great life. To love him as you did means he will always be a part of you. We are proud to have one of his offspring. With sympathy from the Williams Clan.

  3. You are missed so much. You were such a big part of my family’s life and the father to my fur baby. Rest peacefully. Love Cortney, Mikey, and Mavie Mae.
