In Loving Memory of Daisy Cattera
2011 – July 28, 2025 Forever Our Daisy Girl 🌼
Daisy Cattera, affectionately known as “Daisy Girl” and “Lazy Daisy,” peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge on July 28, 2025. Born in Pooler, Georgia, in 2011, Daisy was more than a pet—she was a beloved member of the Cattera family, a gentle soul who truly believed she was one of the humans.
Though her actual birthday was never known, it was joyfully celebrated every year on June 25th, a date that became a treasured tradition for Heather, Austin, and her siblings—Koda, her faithful dog companion, and her human brothers Troy, Luka, and Alec.
Daisy lived her life the way all of us hope to: full of love, naps, and delicious treats. She had a refined palate that favored Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets, salty fries, and the occasional Starbucks pup cup. While she wasn’t one for toys, every once in a while, she would humor her family—or Koda—with a game of tug-of-war. More often, though, Daisy could be found snuggled deep beneath the covers in her favorite spot: the family bed, buried in blankets and dreams.
Car rides were a highlight of her days, but none compared to the memories made riding shotgun in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler, wind in her fur, soaking up every second of adventure by her family’s side.
Daisy was the kind of dog who made a house feel like home. She was steady, comforting, and full of quiet affection—the type of companion who never asked for much but gave everything just by being there. Her presence filled every room with calm and every heart with love.
Though her physical form has left this world, Daisy’s spirit will forever remain wrapped in the warmth of blankets, tucked in every cozy nap, and riding alongside her loved ones in memory.
Sleep well, sweet Daisy Girl. Thank you for being ours.
