Seventeen years ago, in September 2008, the Phillips family welcomed a sweet soul named Sport into their lives. From that day on, he was not just a dog but a loyal companion, a gentle presence, and a source of endless love.

Affectionately known as “Sporty Shorty,” he embodied the purest kind of love. Sport simply loved to be loved—and gave it back freely to everyone he met. He found joy in the simple things: snuggling in his bed, offering comfort to his family, and waiting with bright eyes for his special bedtime treats. Though he was a picky eater, he still savored his meals with patience and quiet delight.

Sport’s heart was always with his family, especially his beloved humans Jaden and Jorden. He was more than a pet—he was a protector, a confidant, and a best friend. His gentle nature and faithful companionship left pawprints on their hearts that will never fade.

On September 20, 2025, Sport passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 17 years old. Though he will be missed dearly, there is comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved Jaden, together again in eternal love and light.
