Jelly Bean Young

In Loving Memory of Jelly Bean Young
February 14, 2013 – October 20, 2025
Forever Our Sweet Boy 💖🐾

Born on Valentine’s Day in Camden, South Carolina, it’s no wonder that Jelly Bean Young was pure love from the very beginning. From the moment he came into the world, he filled every heart around him with warmth, laughter, and comfort.

Lovingly known by his many nicknames — Gremlin, Bubba, Sweet Boy, Jelly, Jelly Belly, Old Man, Old Buddy (Papa’s favorite), and JB — he was the light of his mom Beth (Luna) Young’s life and a faithful companion through all of life’s moments.

Jelly Bean shared a special bond with his brother Sparky, often cuddling with his stuffed toys — especially the ones Sparky preferred to chew — and claiming his favorite recliner at Grandma and Papa’s house as his personal throne. He loved to spend sunny days chasing chickens or simply curling up in a warm patch of sunlight, content and peaceful.

His favorite foods were bacon and cheddar cheese, which always brought out his happy dance and his big, loving eyes. But more than anything, he loved snuggling up close, curling beside his mom on the bed or trying to lay right on top of her, making sure she always felt his love.

Some of the most cherished memories of Jelly Bean are those quiet, comforting moments — walking in to find him curled up in his favorite chair, or feeling his soft weight pressed close, full of love and trust.

Though his paws no longer pad softly across the floor, his presence will forever be felt in every warm ray of sunshine and every cozy chair that feels just a little emptier without him.

Rest peacefully, sweet Jelly Bean.
You were loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and will forever be remembered as the sweetest Valentine of all. 🌈🐶❤️
