Chance Fotinakis

🐾In Loving Memory of Chance Fotinakis 🐾
December 8, 2011 – November 14, 2025

Chance—affectionately known as Chancy-Wancy—was a loyal, joyful, and deeply loved member of the Fotinakis family. Born on December 8, 2011 and first welcomed home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he quickly became the heart of his home, bringing comfort, laughter, and companionship for nearly fourteen beautiful years.

He was the cherished boy of Andrew and Erica Fotinakis, and the gentle, watchful big brother of Brinley and Everly, always keeping an eye on his little human sisters. He also shared life with his pup sister, Sizzlin’ Garcie, creating a sweet pack bound by love.

Chance adored his squeaking duck toy, the one he carried proudly day after day, and nothing made him happier than running outside, feeling the fresh air and freedom that he loved so much. When it came time to rest, he had a habit that belonged only to him—curling up and falling asleep between anyone’s legs, as if that comfortable closeness was his way of saying, “You’re my person.”

Food was one of his great joys in life—Chance happily ate anything, savoring every treat and every bite as a celebration. But his sweetest, most memorable ritual came every time the family came home. Without fail, he would rush to check the baby carrier, making sure Brinley or Everly were safe and sound. It was his way of protecting the girls he adored so dearly.

Chance was the kind of dog who made a home feel full—full of love, full of warmth, full of a presence that can never be replaced. His loyalty was unwavering, his heart enormous, and his soul gentle and kind.

Though he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the memories he gave will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Run free, sweet Chancy-Wancy.
Your family will carry your love forever.
