Sasha Henderson was born on June 5, 2020, in Columbia, SC, and from the moment she entered the world, she carried a spark and personality bigger than her tiny puppy body. Loved endlessly by her parents, Sydia and Savion, Sasha quickly became the heartbeat of her home—smart, silly, expressive, and full of attitude in the most unforgettable ways.

She answered to many names, each one filled with affection: Batgirl, Sasha Girl, and Pookiebutt. Her adored aunts and uncles—Keshawn, Keasia, Keola, and Keon—also shared special bonds with her.

Sasha had a few favorite things in life:
• Her turtle toy and peanut butter bone
• Watching the world go by from the living room window
• Sleeping in front of the kitchen, her designated “supervising spot”
• And most importantly—chicken, her absolute favorite food

What made Sasha truly unforgettable was her personality. She had no shortage of expressions. The eye rolls, the side-eyes, the dramatic looks… she knew exactly how to communicate without making a sound. And when she did bark? She often barked just to scare people—only to turn around and greet them with a smile, a wag, and a request to be cuddled.

She was playful, mischievous, and too smart for her own good, but she was also gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving. Sasha had a way of making every person she encountered feel important and chosen. Her presence filled the room with comfort and joy, and her family loved every inch of her big personality.

The world is quieter without her eye rolls and softer without her cuddles—but the love she gave will stay with her family forever.
