Puck McCallum, known lovingly as Puck Puck, Puckilicious, and Puckin’ Pie, was a truly special soul—one whose presence felt both grounding and magical. Born in late June of 2018 in Camden, South Carolina, Puck lived his life like the whimsical forest cat he was always meant to be.

Adopted and deeply loved by his devoted human, Carson McCallum, Puck grew into a gentle, well-mannered gentleman with an easygoing nature and a quiet sense of mischief. He shared his home and heart with his younger cat sisters Idgie and Ginny, and his best feline friend, Hobbs, forming bonds filled with companionship and comfort.

Puck’s favorite toy was the laser pointer, which awakened his playful curiosity, and his favorite activity was simply being himself—a magical creature wandering through trees, prowling the porch, and embracing his role as a forest guardian. His name, inspired by the mischievous fairy from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, suited him perfectly, as there was always something enchanting about the way he moved through the world.

At night, Puck could often be found resting at the foot of the bed, close to his person, content and peaceful. His favorite treat, Friskies Lil Soups, was always received with appreciation and delight.

Some of the most treasured memories of Puck are the quiet ones—the sight of him running through the trees, slipping gracefully through shadows, or surveying his domain with calm confidence. He was the kind of cat who didn’t demand attention, but earned love effortlessly.

Puck was more than a pet—he was a companion, a forest spirit, and a gentle presence that made life richer simply by being there. His pawprints remain forever on the heart of those who loved him.
