Simba Atim, lovingly known as “Sigma,” may have only been part of his family for a short time, but the love, laughter, and joy he brought will last forever.
Adopted from the Columbia Animal Shelter, Simba quickly found his place in the heart of his mom, Gisele, and alongside his siblings Kobe, Lucas, and Bobitza. From the very beginning, it was clear that Simba was something special — full of personality, playful energy, and a sweetness that made him impossible not to love.
Simba had a playful spirit and a love for the little things that made life fun. Whether he was chasing a laser beam with endless excitement or claiming socks as his favorite “toys,” he had a way of turning ordinary moments into something memorable. One of his most cherished quirks was his love for burrowing under the covers, turning it into a game of hide-and-seek — a playful routine that brought smiles and laughter to those around him.
When it was time to rest, Simba could often be found curled up on his favorite bean bag, content and cozy in his own little world. And of course, he never turned down his beloved Temptations treats, which he enjoyed just as much as the love and attention from his family.
Though his time here feels far too short, Simba filled it with love, playfulness, and connection. He wasn’t just a pet — he was a companion, a source of joy, and a little light in the home.
His memory will live on in every playful moment, every cozy blanket, and every quiet space where his presence once brought comfort.
