Blackie Marsh, affectionately known as Blackie Rodriguez, was a loving, loyal, and spirited girl who brought endless joy and personality into the lives of her family.
She came into the world as a neighbor’s puppy, but from the moment she found her way into the home of Brian and Jessica Marsh, she became so much more — a best friend, a protector, and a deeply cherished member of the family. She shared her life with her siblings James, Bella, and Emma Reed, always right in the middle of everything they did.
Blackie had a playful and curious nature. She loved her stuffed animal puppy, enjoyed riding around and barking at squirrels, and found comfort in being tucked under the covers in bed — her favorite cozy spot. She never turned down her favorite treat, cheese, and always made sure her presence was known with her big personality.
She had a special way of being involved in family life. Whether it was “helping” her siblings with their homeschool work or surprising everyone by bringing home a tiny two-day-old kitten for the family to raise, Blackie was always part of the moment — always making life a little more interesting and a lot more meaningful.
Blackie’s love was steady and strong. She wasn’t just a pet — she was family, a companion through everyday moments, and a source of laughter and comfort.
Though her time here has come to an end, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
