Bocephus Kingsley Howle, affectionately known as Bo or Bo Bo, was a loyal protector, a faithful companion, and the heart of his family for twelve wonderful years.

Bo was deeply loved by his parents, Taylor and Corey Howle, and his human siblings, Allison, Jaxson, and Thoryn. He also shared his life with his animal siblings Athena and Lola, and now reunites with his beloved sister Tootsie, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2018.

Bo’s greatest joy in life was simply being with his family. Whether he was playing with his favorite stuffed toys—especially his beloved soccer ball—exploring the woods on walks and hikes, riding in the car, or relaxing at home, he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.

As his family welcomed different animals and livestock into their lives, Bo embraced his role as protector. He watched over every creature and every family member with unwavering devotion, always making sure those he loved were safe. His gentle strength and loyal heart made him a constant source of comfort and security.

Some of the family’s most treasured memories are of Bo running freely along the beach in the early morning hours, full of joy and life. They will remember the peaceful moments, too—when he would curl up beside them to sleep or stretch out beneath his favorite oak tree, content and at peace. And whenever Dad offered him a steak or burger patty, Bo’s happiness was impossible to miss.

Bo wasn’t just a pet; he was family in every sense of the word. He was there through life’s adventures, celebrations, and quiet everyday moments. His love was unconditional, his loyalty unwavering, and his presence irreplaceable.

Though his paws no longer walk beside his family, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever in their hearts.

Run free, sweet Bo Bo. May there always be wooded trails to explore, beaches to run, soft places to rest, and endless love waiting for you. Thank you for being the best boy your family could have ever asked for. You will be missed dearly and loved forever. 🐾🤍
